WAYSIDE CAMPING

We cannot wait to welcome you all home after 4 successful years building a wonderful campsite with a friendly atmosphere, we absolutely love the community that is building year by year. Our small, family run team are so excited to open up the gates again, bringing the field to life bigger and better than ever.

Our wonderful friends at fandangos will be back bringing the fun in the big top tent, with a fully stocked bar, evening entertainment and lots of space to hang out.

We'll be joined again by the mouth watering Andrews Quality meats, serving up breakfast lunch and dinner from Thursday evening through to Sunday evening. Menu TBC.

Wayside Camping is an independent accommodation provider. your booking is for camping only and is not conditional on the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) taking place. The Campsite is able to operate regardless of RIAT status, unless we are prevented from doing so due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, government restrictions or safety concerns)

For the attention of 2026 transferred bookings:

The option to transfer a 2026 booking to 2027 was offered as a one time goodwill gesture following the cancellation of RIAT 2026. 

As stated in the email detailing the terms of the options, once transferred, bookings are non - refundable and non - transferable. Should RIAT 2027 be cancelled, postponed or modified for any reason, Wayside Camping will continue to operate on the advertised dates and all transferred bookings will remain valid for those dates.

No refunds, credits or further transfers will be available in relation to transferred bookings.

DAY VISITORS ARE WELCOME FROM THE THURSDAY ONWARDS - WE HAVE A SMALL PARKING AREA AND CHARGE £15 PER CAR - DAY

FREE ENTRY ON FOOT.

WE ASK THAT ALL DAY VISITORS USE OUR HOSPITALITY AREA AS THE PARKING AREA HAS LIVESTOCK NEARBY. WE ALSO ASK THAT NO FOOD OR DRINK IS BROUGHT ON SITE BY DAY VISITORS TO ENCOURAGE THE USE OF OUR FOOD VENDORS AND BAR AND TO STAY ON TOP OF WASTE COLLECTION. DAY VISITORS MUST LEAVE THE SITE BY 11PM.

PLEASE NOTE - Bookings are made per person, not per pitch. If more people arrive than what you have paid and booked for, you will be charged on the door for extra guests before being allowed on site or potentially turned away as all facilities will be booked based on the number of people booked prior to arrival. PLEASE check your booking confirmation before arrival and be sure of how many guests you have paid for.

It is important to note that although we are in close proximity to Fairford airbase, and many RIAT ticket holders book to stay with us , we are not affiliated or connected to RIAT in any way and operate solely as an independent accommodation campsite.
